Arboretums and Public Gardens: The United States National Arboretum in Beltsville, MD includes the famous Gotelli collection of conifers, the oldest and largest in the U.S. The Bernheim Arboretum, located just south of Louisville KY, was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead.
