The Conifer Society is the official society of both professional and enthusiastic amateur growers of Dwarf Conifers in the United States. Their website contains valuable, accurate information on Dwarf Conifers, plus excellent links to nurseries and worldwide conifer societies. The owner of Mountain Meadows (Michael Balogh) is a Plantsman for the American Conifer Society.

The Lovett Pinetum Charitable Foundation was established to gain practical knowledge of the best ways to grow pines and conifers. If you have a question about pine trees, chances are you will will find your answer on their extensive and very clear list of questions and answers.

Arboretums and Public Gardens:

The United States National Arboretum in Beltsville, MD includes the famous Gotelli collection of conifers, the oldest and largest in the U.S.

The Bernheim Arboretum, located just south of Louisville KY, was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. The grounds contain large conifers that are remnants of old forestry plantings from the 1930's.

The Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Clinton, Iowa contains a collection of over 600 dwarf and rare conifers.
